See one of our Frisco leaders speak to our Frisco City Council last Tuesday

Hi, my name is Sharon Stark and I live at 9818 Bell Rock Road. Um I'm a member of the the Grove at Frisco Commons, the senior center. The Grove needs more parking. The Grove hosts various senior activities and elections and city meetings on weekdays, sometimes all of the all at the same time, because I've been there when that's happened.

And uh as a result, it has been obvious that parking is needed there. We seniors have had to circle around the parking lot multiple times trying to find a place to park. We've had to go ahead and we've been told to go ahead and park in the no parking zones that are redlined for some emergency things. Um I am also an election judge at the grove,

so uh as reported to me in the 2024 election that voters tried to vote there but could not find a parking spot and they went elsewhere to vote. Um Frisco will have four to seven elections this year, so we're gonna be there a lot again. And just today, one of the seniors texted me uh in a group that we're in for that goes there that there was no parking at the grove again.

So as Frisco grows and senior members at the Grove will also increase parking available at the at the Grove at Frisco Commons needs to be increased now. Please plan for that this year, and thank you for your time this evening.
