Tell me, who continues to support the 287(g) program in Denton County when incidents like this occur? ICE is no longer targeting only undocumented individuals — their actions now impact a much broader community. If someone appears Hispanic or is deemed “suspicious” for any reason, they risk being targeted. By implementing 287(g), Denton County effectively deputizes local law enforcement to act as ICE agents. Consider the consequences: does this not erode the trust between law enforcement and the residents of Denton County? Can anyone genuinely argue that 287(g) makes our community feel safer? We must raise these concerns with our Denton County Commissioners. And if they refuse to listen, then it is our responsibility to challenge them — to run for office, to advocate for change, and to work toward flipping the Commissioners Court blue in the 2026 election.

ICE did this. ICE released a dog who attacked this man in front of his wife and children. This man is a United States citizen. His wife, his children, all United States citizens. And ICE did this to him. Senator Pat Murray posted this picture and his story. His name is Wilmer.

be told. All of these stories need to be told. The things that ICE is doing in this country is terrorism. The things that ICE is doing in this country is wrong. It's unneeded. You are criminalizing people who have committed nothing but a

civil misdemeanor. And you're using this as a cover to rain terror on the communities throughout this country. This is disgusting. This is gross. And we, the American people must stand in solidarity against these Gestapo state sponsored terrorist thugs.
