Thank you. With deep respect for the Commissioner's Court and the work that you do, I stand to introduce myself, Ernest Weinberger, a retired naval officer living in Denton County as the Democratic nominee for a seat in the U.S. House of Representatives for Texas Congressional District 26. I would also like to express my appreciation and support for your agenda item regarding the Hispanic Heritage Month Proclamation.

It is clear to me that recognizing the contributions and accomplishments of this important segment of our society is a critical part of bringing us all together with one as one diverse community. With mutual support and respect, we improved the quality of life for everyone. Lastly, I would like to express my support for election day vote centers for Denton County in the manner similar

to our early voting polling place requirements. This is not a new or dangerous effort. Many other counties are already enjoying the benefits of vote centers. I encourage this esteemed court to take on the challenge, clear the last of the hurdles, and make this a reality for Denton County. Thank you for what you do for Denton County and
