Good to see you all again. My name is Stephanie Draper, and I have been a resident for Den County for over 20 years. I have raised my children here. I worked here, I've served as an election judge. I also am a candidate for Denton County County Commissioner Precinct 4. Today I'm here to speak about something that should matter

to everyone. Access to voting. Denton County is growing, and our election system must grow with our community. The residents have spoken. Texas law provides for countywide polling places programs under Texas Election Code Section 43.007. Participating counties can establish countywide polling places for election day.

We have the legal framework to consider this option. And right now, access matters more than ever. More than 1.2 million Texas voters are currently on the state suspension list because questions have been raised about their registration address. These voters have not been removed from the voting rolls, but they have still, they still can vote, but they need to make sure they take care where their residents

are at. centers everywhere for our working class people, for the elderly, for the children that are going to our universities out here. When election day on November 3rd happens, we don't want to have the same problem having to turn away people from being able to go and vote. That is their right to vote.

In Den County, we have been voting on election day and that's it. We need to change that. We need to move with what's going on now. Den County is growing. We need to make sure that everyone has the right to have access to vote. So please consider having countywide voting on election day

for everyone. Thank you.
