I see a lot of accusations saying that the Democratic Party and also Tim Walls wants to put tampons in boys' rooms. This is just not the case at all. And if you say so, the burden of proof is on you to prove that to me. I'm gonna tell you it's not the case. Now let's put the burden of proof on myself when
I prove to you it's not. Because I want to talk about bill HF 44. Tim Walls did pass the bill, but he did not write the bill. Governors don't have the ability to write bills, only State House reps and senators do. Now, HF 44 is a bill by Sandra Feist. And the bill text goes like this.
School districts and charter schools must provide access to menstrual products at no charge. Products must be available in restrooms used by students, grades four through twelve, end quote. Notice nowhere in the bill, you can read it, I'll provide a link to the description. Nowhere in the bill does it say which restroom. This simply doesn't uh state which one.
Now, it does not say that it must be in female restrooms. It does not say that, but it just doesn't reference. And that's all this is. Because it does not say girls' rooms, because it just simply doesn't go there. Fox News and other right-wing media outlets took this and twisted it, made it seem as if it has to
go into both restrooms or it has to go into boys' rooms as well, potentially. But that's not really the case. The bill simply just doesn't say which restroom. It just doesn't say which restroom. That's all this is. So if you disagree with me, if you honestly believe that Tim Walls is wanting to put uh menstrual products
into boys' rooms, the burden of proof is on you to tell me which bill number that bill is and to provide the bill text to me. Because I can find this bill for you and tell you that you unfortunately have uh received misinformation. If you think that I am mistaken, then I challenge you to look up and give me a bill number and bill text that would specifically claim that that has
to be done.
