Well, looks like the House Committee just dropped the report for Matt Gates, so let's go ahead and take a look. It's right here. It's at the street. Anyone can download it and read it. I'm actually going to jump to page seven because that seems to be where the general summary is, but it's
actually this part's not too surprising. He's been uh having sexual relations with a 17-year-old girl. Things like this have been going on since 2017. Uh, there's a reference here to cocaine and ecstasy, and later on in the report, Molly comes up as well. Uh page seven, not too surprising, but I do find page 19 interesting because this lists how much money he was giving to each of these women that he was
having relations with, and to see that there's at least 13 of them. And if you really add it up, he's spent almost a hundred thousand dollars uh on this kind of stuff, and it's just so upsetting because guys, this is a politician, this is a lawmaker, this is someone who's paid with by our taxpayer dollars. This is someone who expresses himself to be a Christian
and a moral authority, and to see that someone's spending almost a hundred thousand dollars across at least thirteen different women that we know of uh for this kind of stuff is eyebrow raising and highly alarming, and something that I would expect more from our politicians. Uh I would expect them to be held to a higher standard, rather. You know, especially on page 23.
We can see here a cell phone conversation where he uh does ask uh the if the two girls are old enough to drink alcohol, despite being the fact he had a previous relationship with a 17-year- old. Uh, but then he of course ends the conversation, or at least we can see the last part of the conversation here is asking whether or not they have ever tried Molly.
Because he says uh they they work hard and play hard. So and uh then asks about Molly. This is just you know, as someone who ran for office myself, it's so upsetting to see others do this and get away with this for so long. We can see that this has been going on since 2017.
If I did a fraction of any one of these things., my political career would be over If I did a fraction of any one of these things, my own party would throw me out, and I would expect them to do so. But we don't really see that happening here, at least not without uh begrudgingly, um, because we've seen how Marjorie Taylor Green and others would say things among the lines
of, well, if you're gonna release this information, release all information, even though they don't reference what that means. Uh we should be holding our politicians to a higher standard. If we all keep voting for crummy politicians like this, you're gonna get crummy politics. So uh it's interesting. But go ahead and let me know in the comments
what you all think. You can uh download the uh the report yourself, it's 42 pages, and let me know in the comments uh what sticks out to you.
