I too want to come up here and uh say that we really need countywide voting on election day. You know, I want to highlight that the election day is the last opportunity for people to vote. You know, we tend to have two weeks of early voting. And we establish a consistent idea that you can vote anywhere in the county, but yet on the last day

to vote, on the last day to vote, we're switching up the rules. I mean, come on, guys, that's just not fair. That's confusing to people. It's why so many people get confused, so many people get frustrated. They, you know, they they they have this idea that they can vote anywhere in the county.

And look, I understand that uh there's a lot of disinformation out there. There's some people who say, oh, well, if we have countywide voting on election day, then you can vote at multiple locations. But the reality is that we have a pretty secure system. From what I understand, is that when you check in

when your driver's license is scanned, I believe it's every four minutes a signal is sent out to all of the uh polling locations saying, hey, this person has voted. So you can't get from one voting location to another within four minutes, right? I mean that's that's that's crazy. Uh someone who claims so is just pushing disinformation. Um and I respect that we do have more uh

polling locations on the last day to vote on voting day. That's great, but again, that's no reason to still not have countywide voting on election day. I understand the concept of being, you know, precinct driven, but let's be real here, guys. Not everyone works in the precinct they live in. Not everyone's kid goes to the school in the precinct

they live in. People travel all over this county, and we have traffic. We have a booming population spike in Denton County, which is a good thing, but we have traffic and it's difficult to get to from one location to another. Um no, I'm halfway through, so I'm gonna stop with that now and switch gears. I do want to give a good thanks and a

shout out to Frisco. Um we have a new mayor in Frisco, and it's been real tough in Frisco. We've seen a lot of really bad rhetoric in Frisco to the point where we uh our city council had to cancel their citizens' input. And um, you know, we we had a real tough uh race for mayor in Frisco, and I want to

give a shout out to Mark Hill. I want to thank him for his uh campaign to have unity in Frisco. We really need that I want to And also thank you all for showing up last Tuesday night uh to the swearing-in ceremony because uh you know Frisco needs some attention, it needs some tender love and care.

And uh I want to thank you for all showing up for that um and uh supporting us. So thank you for your time. Thank you for coming over and seeing us this morning. Thank you.
