Hi, I'm Dale Frey, and I'm running for the Texas State House of Representatives for HD 106, which is east side Denton County, Texas. So if you live in this green area here, I'm one of your candidates. There are many reasons I'm running for office, but the one that's more personal to me is our broken health care system.

See, I've done that 23 meat blood test exam out of curiosity and fun. Never expected to come back and tell me that I'm genetically enabled to get Alzheimer's when I get older. And I come to find out it runs on both sides of my family. I find this out right around the same time I befriend someone named Kennette, someone who owns her own LLC.

She has a healthcare provider, one for assisted living. So she would take care of people who have Alzheimer's and dementia and things like that. She comes to tell me that she's about to go out of business unless she drops her Medicaid recipients. Because Medicaid is not paying enough to their healthcare providers as demonstrated here. Requesting from ISP getting bad dress, B rural, hair care,

poultry, transportation cleaning, export shopping, transportation 24 hours now on $20 for kids. And that is happening to our medical facilities here in Texas. Texas, one of the few states in the country that has opted out of the Medicaid expansion program, which is insane. So we spend our federal taxpayer dollars, and we Texans

are paying for medical programs in California and New Jersey, but we do not get that money back here. We have to fix this broken system, folks. I have seen firsthand the personal effects of this on friends and family. You see, the reason I moved down to Texas is not just because my wife pulled me down here, she's a multi-gen native Texan, but because she wanted to be

closer with her father as he battled cancer in the later years of his life. Now, my father in law, Francisco Hernandez, he made very little money as a retired school teacher, as is unfortunately the case with most school teachers in the state of Texas. And I tell you, it was real difficult to get through all those medical treatments with a very minimal amount

of support from Medicaid in the teacher's retirement. It was a real tough time for our family, because here in Texas, school teachers are not paid enough, they're not paid enough into retirement, and our Medicaid system is completely broken. We have to send better leadership to Austin. And we need to send somebody with the experience to do the job right.

Look, I'm gonna be honest and candid with you. Neither myself nor does my primary challenger have experience running against our Republican incumbent Jared Patterson. Only Jennifer and Ramona Thomas does. But what I do have is years, my entire career of working with the government. My first job at a college is working at the headquarters of the Department of Education in Washington, DC.

I work for the General Services Administration in DC for years, and now currently I work in support of the U.S. Geological Survey and NOAA, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, where I supply support to climate scientists who report on the effects of climate change on our economy. Look, I only bring this up because you're going to see other candidates and politicians claim that they care about

the education department or they're so knowledgeable on climate change. And anyone can say these mouth words, but there's a difference between that and having actual experience in the field like I do. But I digress, as if you've gotten this far into this video, then I've probably taken enough of your time as it is. So head over to Freyfortex.com to learn more about me.

I try to be very active on social media. I constantly make videos all the time describing my positions on things, and I post those videos on my website as well. So again, Freyfor Texas.com to learn more about me or support my campaign. Thank you for your time and God bless.
