It's voting week in

Folks, if you live anywhere in Texas, this week is voting week. Make sure you get out to the polls. If you want to know where you can go, go to this website right here. We'll tell you what times you can go for each polling place. Now, I want to support proposition nine.

Proposition nine is something that will help our retired school teachers. This proposition is long overdue. My father-in-law was a school teacher retired, and I've seen how little money they get. I also know a woman personally who goes to the Frisco Democratic Club like I do who retired. She told me that she was making something like $75,000

when she retired, and I didn't have the heart to tell her. It's like, oh my god, $75,000? That's how much money I made in my first job out of college. Our school teachers are treated like trash. They are not given the compensation that they deserve for all the hard work that they do.

So please go out and vote, and please vote yes for proposition number nine.
