It's voting week in

If you live anywhere in Texas, this week is voting week, so make sure you get out to the pools and vote no on Prop 7. People have been asking me about this, so let me explain why. Prop 7 is a response to the cold snap that happened a little while ago. What this does is it puts money into our power

grid, which at face value is a good thing. If that's truly what it was, if it's about supporting a power grid just like that, that'd be great, but it's not exactly what it is. Because this proposition sends no money to wind nor any money to solar, a little bit to oil, and a lot of natural gas. This in no means is a proper response to the

cold snap that happened. Yeah, back in the cold snap, every single industry provider was hurting real bad. Coal, wind, natural gas, but guess who the biggest loser was? Some wind turbines stopped working in the freezing cold. But the biggest failure uh in terms of its its magnitude and its impact was the natural gas system.

Natural gas, which actually contains water vapor, froze in storage wells and pipelines. Yeah, so natural gas was the biggest loser, yet this proposition gives more money to natural gas than any other industry. And of course we all know why. It's because Governor Advent has made himself rich, filthy, filthy rich off campaign contributions from the natural gas industry.

This proposition is paid by the natural gas industry. And think about this for a second. If the natural gas industry have so much money in their pockets that they're willing to just purchase and buy out all these politicians, do they really need any more money? I mean, they're wasting money they could be putting into their own grid by buying out politicians.

So if we do vote yes and we do give them more money, are they really gonna fight fix their infrastructure? Or are they gonna just invest more into their politicians? But hey, hey, let's just go ahead and shuffle that topic. Now let's ahead and talk about the response to the cold snap.

You see, I have natural gas in my home, right? That's how my heaters work. Now, when the power went out, I lost the ability to use that natural gas heating. Because the igniter, the system that manages the natural gas furnace, is electrical. So when the electricity went out, even though I still had natural gas coming into my home because my pipelines

happened to not freeze up, it didn't matter. Because without electricity, my furnace can't run. So yeah, just think about that when you're looking at proposition seven. Vote no on that, because that makes no sense Supporting natural gas industry more than any other industry, that is not the proper response to the cold snap that happened.
