Hey everybody, it's about 4:15 a.m. We are just now getting off the House floor. I wanted to give you guys a quick update on what's been going on today in the 88th session, third called special. As the eighth largest economy in the world, I really did believe that we would be coming here today to focus on things that taxpayers and Texans really care about.

Expanding broadband, making sure our foster care system is safer, making sure our kids are safe, making sure our teachers are taken care of. Texas is dealing with a lot of issues. What we have done today is attack Texans, attack business owners, attack victims of sexual assault, violence, and children. This is not Texas. This is not the friendly state.

We must do better. Texans are depending on us. I'm not going to give up this fight. We will be back on Monday, and we will continue to get to work. Good night, guys.
