We have lost forty percent of our school staff in the past two years. On top of that, certain places like Ray Fine ISD hasn't even had a school librarian in two years. We're in a bad situation right now with our public schools in Texas. Public schools are a desperate situation right now, but don't take my word for it.

Look at Fort Davis right here. Their superintendent is saying I'm squeezing every nickel and dime out of every budget item, but he's still about to run out of money. We need to send representatives to Austin that care about our public education system because right now when we try to ask for more funding for that, this is what
