First of all, I want to welcome all of you to uh our uh monthly uh see you happy hour. It's great to see all of you. Uh my name is Warren President, and it's great to see some great turnout. Um I do want to uh many first timers here today. Great to see you Chris.

So welcome, and we hope to come back. I will say that on your table there's a little placard with a QR code. One side is for donations and the other side is for membership. Uh and I want to encourage any of you people, if you feel so inclined, we'd love to have you as a member in $25 annual donation.

That money goes directly to help the club uh achieve our mission, which is to identify and support high quality democratic unities. I do want to uh we have some uh some guests here tonight and appreciate their support for coming. Uh first we have from the community uh Democrat Club, Liz Michelle. Um Liz is also the CCBP chairperson

for uh uh candidate recruitment and training committee. Okay. Okay. Uh hi Liz, I am yes, the chair of candidate recruitment training. So if you or someone you know wants to run as a Democratic Holly County appointee mayor, okay. There you go.

Uh we're gonna have a training session on August 19th. 8:30 to 4:30 So if you're interested in learning more about what it takes to run, what it takes to volunteer on a campaign, what it takes to work on a campaign, what it takes to be shared start. So if you're a prison chair, if you're a Democrat, you'd like you to come out, learn more about the

training, what it means to be limited. Um sorry my voice is going in because I'm gonna sit. But uh any questions you have about it, please let me know, and then also forward to other people that you think might want to be able to do. You got the whole column county how much the training is if you are already getting the classes with $50,

a donation if you just want to give it to $25. If $25 is still as much, you've got some lots of solutions. Also from Virginia and from CCD, we have uh Jeremy and also we have uh uh from uh Alan. We have Scotty Cody.

It's great to see such uh cross support from our county, okay? So thanks for being here. Also, we have uh from Plano Dams. And thank you so much for being here. Two minutes for room. And uh also from uh Plano, but he is a precinct chair, and he is also a

uh CCPD chair for finding and recruiting uh more precinct chairs uh Michael Casablan. And his wife happens. You want to talk to Boster? Hey! So my job is chair of the precinct or operations committee. Um has been, I would say, inaccurate described the past

recruitment. Uh we're also supposed to empower the precinct chairs and make it easier to do their job, which is making the world a better place by talking to fellow democrats. So want to talk to the Democrats? Absolutely! You like to make the world a better place? Maybe you should be a racing chair.

Perfect. I will have played well, we need to touch me, talk to Roy or talk to me here, we'll get it sorted, we'll make it as easy as possible. Literally, you're willing to walk the doors and talk to people and have live stuff. It's the most fun conversations on the canvas and trail because we're only walking down.

That's all we need to do. That's right. And it's the most energizing fun thing to do really to the campaigns. So thank you for thank you for being here And last but certainly not least, our fearless leader from CCDP, the chair of the uh party. We have uh Sheena King.

All right. Um I do want to remind you guys that you know every every time we have a happy hour, we try to pick a community outreach uh program to support. And we're supporting Diane Davis's uh pack a backpack uh for this meeting, and so we are taking cash donations, and right after this meeting, I'm running over to her uh her uh educational uh businesses that she

has on the side. It's right here, and I would encourage all of you too. Whatever is appropriate for you if you wouldn't want it. Okay, all right, almost done. We'd like to give away a little door prize, and you know, uh, since this month seems to be movie month, okay, uh you know, it's part-timer time.

Uh so uh we have a little door prize that has a kitchen ticket in it and committies for watching the movies. So maybe he's gonna pick it up. Does everybody have a ticket? Did everybody get a ticket? Okay, okay. Well, it's here when you want it, okay?

Okay. If you want to take it and hold them over it, you can't. Oh my god. See, that'll work. Oh my god. Alright, thanks, Kim, for being here tonight. Enjoy each other.

We have board members here. Sharon Stark, everybody knows Sharon. She's the biggest demo on earth. And our communications chair, Dale Frey. If you're on the internet, you know Dave. Thanks so much. It's group effort.
