Texas is a hot place with temperatures easily going over 100 degrees Fahrenheit and our prison systems have no air conditioning. Due to that, a lot of people have died in prison. Republican dominated legislature refuses to give any money towards air conditioning in prison. So you're probably asking yourself, what is the justification behind
that? State House Representative Matt Schaefer has a justification for you. He's gonna point to an article and then say, Are you sure you want to put air conditionings in prisons? Here's the article. Okay, look, I get it. Bad guys are bad. You probably want this guy to get cooked to death,
but uh that's not gonna happen because this is a federal prison he's going to, not a state one. The 24-year-old pleaded guilty to federal hate crime charges. It says it right there in the article. Which really goes to show you that this guy right here, a lawmaker, a guy who's elected to office, didn't even read his own article that he referenced before grifting on putting air conditioning in prisons.
No, this guy's going to federal prison where they do have temperature guidelines, and there's a lot of people in Texas who have committed nonviolent crimes who are getting cooked to death. Folks, we need to vote this guy out of office. This foolishness needs to end. We need to vote blue every time, every election, all the way down the ballot, every time vote blue.
