Well, thank you so much. I am so honored to be here, and it is an honor to be the Grand Marshal on the Juneteenth parade. I'm Jillian Parker Mims. I'm chair of the Denton County Democratic Party. I'm the first black chair in the party's entire history. I'm gonna brag about what we've done.

Under my under my leadership, Denton County was number one in the state of Texas for registering Democratic voters. We were also number one in this area for giving people to the vote. So in honor of Juneteenth, make sure you're registered and to any of our elected officials out there, local county, Denton County needs to have vote centers so that we

can have easy access to voting. It's one thing to celebrate Juneteenth eating barbecue, but it's another thing to be an elected officials and help us have easy access to voting in Denton County. So thank you guys so much, and I'm so honored to be your Grand Marshal. Have a great day, and we'll be walking around.
