Well, here's what the Senate's been up to. The state capitol today. Senators moved several bills out of the state affairs committee. Bills focus on public school employees' right to pray while working, displaying the Ten Commandments in public school classrooms. This is such a waste of time. Look, we've been over this. The Ten Commandments in the Classroom is blatantly unconstitutional, especially
in this bill here that it says it has to be displayed in a conspicuous location inside public schools, which are government buildings. And the First Amendment, and the first sentence says that the government shall make no law respecting establishment of any religion, despite the uh author's claim that it's somehow what our founding fathers wanted. No, the first statement in the first sentence of the
First Amendment says otherwise. And to top that off, nothing I just said actually matters because according to the Texas Constitution, there should not be legislation on subjects other than those designated by the governor. So, yeah, that's your update. That's what the Senate's been up to. Just wasting time.
