Hey y'all, just want to keep everyone up to date on the local democratic events going on in the area. First of all, uh Madam Representative Plesa is having her town hall tonight, March 27th, 7 p.m. She is representing uh not here in Denton County, Texas, she's our next door neighbor in Collin County, about a left corner in just seven there. Uh she represents that.
But she'll be doing her town hall tonight. Uh you can catch that. That'll be interesting. I think she is the only Democratic representative in the House between both Denton Contew and Collin County combined. So that's a little bit painful, but at least we got one Democrat in there. Uh the next thing I want to talk about is
Texas Blue. Texas Blue is an entity that effectively tries to help out financially to those who uh want to run for office. Uh they're kind of like a fundraiser uh type of organization, but we really need them in uh given what's going on uh with House Bill 232 right now, uh which is going to increase the filing fee uh for
those who uh want to run, which is painful because a lot of Republicans have run unimposed in the last election. And it's because of things like this, this paywall here. And so uh we're gonna be meeting to talk about more about that with Texas Blue. That's tomorrow night, March 28th, 7 p.m. So just want to keep everyone uh aware of what's
