All right. How are you guys doing? So my name is Dale Frey. I'm running for the Texas State Senate for District 30. There are many things I'm very passionate about, like our trying to fix our broken health care system, supporting our public school teachers, supporting our public schools. Let me go more into detail about that.

You see, my wife and I moved back down here to Texas to be closer with our father as he battled battled stage three cancer. And I was shocked when I came down here to find out just how bad things are. A friend of mine named Kennette, she owns our own LLC. She is a health care provider.

She's ranting to me over a cup of coffee, talking about how she has to drop her Medicaid recipients because the Medicaid rates have not been adjusted since long before the pandemic and inflation's killing her in the sector. So we have people, uh healthcare providers dropping their Medicaid recipients, all while we're not part of the Medicaid expansion program, only because it's blocked by Governor Greg Abbott, something we already pay money into, and money that does not

come back here at a home, but does go to California and New Jersey and other states, which is insane. We have people who are poor but not poor enough to qualify for the Medicaid program. This is insane. All these things could be fixed if only we had better leadership in Austin. I want to support our public school teachers.

My father in law that was talking about, he was a public school teacher. I was shocked to find out how little amount of money he made as a retired public school teacher. I was shocked to find out how little money school teachers make before they retire. A friend of mine, uh Vicki on the Frisco Democratic Club board, she's told me how much money she made

before she retired, and I said, My God, Vicky, that's the same amount of money I made my first job out of college. Our school teachers are not supported. A decade ago, our legislature used to give more direct money to our public schools, but over the past decade they've adjusted the way that that money flows. It now comes a little bit more so out of

your property taxes, which is a lopsided way that does not work. We need to fund our public schools. We cannot call our school teachers groomers. What they're doing is they're taking care of our kids, which means they're taking care of our future. And I want to support them. I want to support our public schools, I want to

support our teachers. Uh that said, I don't know how much time I have left. Okay, cool. So I'm gonna runoff right now. Usually this is a point where I ask you for money. I'm not gonna ask you for money.

I'm know that sounds weird, but I gonna ask you is to come out and vote. My runoff election is not at the beginning of May, it's at the end of May. It's May 28th. So what my big ask for you right now is to open up your phone, open up your calendar, and

There's also the dates for my runoff election are there as well. Again, it's pretty weird for a candidate for you to not ask money from you, but that's how this is what I need to do.
