Well, now that Super Tuesday is done, I want to say that I am grateful. I am very grateful. Well, guys, this was a really tough three-way primary with each of us having very different personalities and different campaign strategies. I used every method of outreach that I knew of, from uh literature dropping to phone calling to block walking,

etc. So I think being in Denton County Democratic Party precinct should help me out quite a bit because uh this stuff was not new to me. I didn't need to learn anything anything on the spot. Blocking walking was not awkward. And I also think that my experience working with government gave me a unique political advantage.

Not enough to cross the 50% threshold, but then again, that's a really tall order to ask in a three- way primary. That said, I know the race is not yet over. I know that my next phase in this process will be a runoff. Uh it's not gonna be easy, but it's something that I look forward to.

That said, I want to thank Matthew McGee for running. He ran an interesting race. He tried some different things that a lot of us don't uh always necessarily try, but it was interesting to see where he gained and where he did not gain with that particular uh campaign strategy. Also, going forward, I do want to say that I do have one regret.

My one regret is not having enough time to spend with my opponent, Michael Braxton. My hope is that going forward, that Michael Braxton and I can be more present together at the same time at uh candidate events because I believe that our constituents should be given the opportunity to see us both at the same time on the stage so our constituents can compare uh the two of us before this runoff and

figure out which of the two of us is the best best fit for advocating for the Democratic side for SD-30. That said, I will be reaching out to you guys and advocating for you all to come out to the runoff election coming up in mid-May. Thank you for your time.
