Who is Dale Frey?
Graduating from GMU, I was honored to have my first job out of college working in the headquarters of the Department of Education in Washington DC. I have since worked with various government agencies from GSA, to the U.S. Geological Survey, to NOAA - supporting our government as a web developer.

My wife, a native Texan, always wanted to come back home. We bought a house in Denton County to be closer with her father as he battled cancer in his later years.

And now, I feel compelled to do more in this community that I now call home. I am running for Denton County Commissioner and am doing everything I can to support our friends in the FDC and DCDP

It was good to see our friends at our Progressive Toastmasters last week! 😃 I gave a speech about the Denton County Commissioners Court whie highlighting statements from both Democrat and Republican Precinct Chairs in my presentation. 💙 Despite the last minute change to being online-only, we pulled through 💪 We meet every Monday at 7:00pm in Lewisville, and online. 😁 So join us next time! 💙 More Info & RSVP at: 🔗 https://www.mobilize.us/mobilize/event/588255/ denton dentontx

Thank you, @linebergerforuscongress, for speaking to our Denton County Commissioners, advocating for the Hispanic Heritage proclamation, and supporting the establishment of Voting Centers. 💪💙🌊

It was good to speak to our fellow Denton County Commissioners back in April. 💪 There are a great many things we need to focus on in our County. We need to support Meals On Wheels, we need to allocate our Opioid Settlement Fund, but most of all, we need Voting Centers. Right now we can vote anywhere in the County during Early Voting. But on the last day to vote, on the "Election Day", we cannot. 😤 This leads to confusion, and voters being redirected to other locations on Election Day. And in a lot of cases, causes voters to loose their ability to vote (when get get fatigued or cannot make it in time to the correct location). This. Is. Voter. Suppression. We must all advocate for Voting Centers, aka Countywide-Voting, for Election day. 🗳️

A special thanks to our friend Jane for leading our group as we speak to the Denton County Commissioners about Voting Centers! 💪 It's important for everyone to know: 👉 15% of voters were redirected in the May Primary Runnoff on Election day - that is 1 out of every 6 voters! 👉 11% of voters were redirected on the November 5th Election 👉 Not supporting Voting Centers on Election Day is voter suppression. It makes voting more difficult, and can even take away the ability to vote for those who cannot get to their corect location on time! It's time for us to do what over 100 Counties in Texas has already done. Its time for Denton County to adopt Voting Centers.

It was good to see our Frisco City Council members last night as we advocate for our Public Schools! 💙 A special thanks to Gerald for helping with the Public Speeking, and Georgiana for the speech writing 💪

It was good to speak to our Little Elm City Council Leaders. 🙂 We are advocating for our Public Schools wherever we can 💪 We know that City Council has no legislative power over the WADA/Basic-Allotment, but a simple Proclamation or Public Statement can go a long way - especially when it's not just from all of us constituents, but from City Council Members as well. 💙

Bwaaahahahahah. One of my friends went to the Town Hall for Representative Keith Self (R-TX, District 3) today. Keith ran away and even rolled over the curb to retreat 😆😂🤣🤣

As we community members - As we parents - As we neighbors -. We all have concerns about certain things. - I [mostly] stand proud that our LISD School Board is willing to hear inquiries from residents (like myself). And, I am thankful that I had the opportunity to voice my concern about a curriculum that was recently pushed by the SBoE. I look forward to hearing more about how public education will go forward with this ISD.

We all need to get involved in our Texas Public Education turmoil! I understand that our ISD Board Members are not in control of the Basic-Allotment/WADA - they are not the ones I blame for our situation. Though, we ALL need to speak up. We must speak to everyone we can about our education-underfunding. One of our community members, like my good friend, Georgeiana, has some things to say 💪

It was good to see our friends at Progressive Toastmasters the other week! I gave a presentation on how School Funding works, and touched on the Bluebonnet curriculum being pushed by our SBoE. 😀 Progressive Toastmasters is a place to grow our Public Speaking capabilities, and a safe space for us Dems! 💙 We meet every Monday at 7:00pm, so join us next time! 💪 More info & RSVP at: 🔗 https://www.mobilize.us/mobilize/event/588255/

Undocumented immigrants commit violent crimes at such a lesser rate than US citizens to the point that it is obvious that candidates who ignore this fact, are only appealing to their racist-base, and don't care about the crime itself at all. 🧐 So only the undocumented get a public executions here, but not citizens for the same crime? 👉 The Cato Institute analyzed data from Texas in 2019 and found that undocumented immigrants had lower conviction rates for violent crimes. 👉 A 2018 study in Criminology found that undocumented immigration is not associated with higher violent crime rates 👉👉 and may even be linked to reductions in crime.

A common pivot I see is going right to "The Border" when asked about something a speaker doesn't like. In this ridicules response, this Newsweek journalist responds to the question of Bernie Sanders plan & minimum-wage, but pivots to the border while rejecting the need to raise the minimum wage. 😒 You just can't make this stuff up... 👉 Bernie has always talked about simply making billionaires pay their fair share of taxes 👉 That is not "redistribution", that is a simple tax the rest of us all pay 👉 The minimum wage hasn't been raised since 2009 👉 Inflation has happened since then, and is killing us 👉 I really dont understand the concept of saying "Oh, the working class people dont want to raise the min-wage nor tax billionaires because they want a strong border"... NO ONE is saying that!

Reading the Matt Gaetz report. If I did a fraction of these things, my political career would not only be over, but I would expect my own Party to throw me out. It is insane to think that he has been getting away with this for so long. 😒 been going on since 2017 😒 spent almost $100K across 13 different women 😒 abused cocaine, ecstasy, and Molly 😡 Will resume being a lawmaker in the next session 🤢 🤮

The Government nearly shut down last week due to President Elon bombing the bipartisan budget. Last Friday Elon had Republicans make this change in order to have the budget passed - axing funding to Children's Cancer research - this "Gabriella Miller Kids First Pediatric Research" program was started with bipartisan support over a decade ago. 😕 Trump & Elon don't care about you. 😕 They care about their own ego. 😞 They are self absorbed, to the point of being out of touch with reality.

Trump immediately walking back on saying he would release the Epstein List. Why? This is incredibly suspicious when: ⚠️ Trump was the President when Epstein was "suicided" ⚠️ Flight logs show Trump was on the Lolita Express at least 7 times 🤔 So why would Trump hesitate? Who is he trying to protect? Why "phoney" stuff is in there? Why not just lt the American people decide for themselves? 🤔 Is this what Trump supporters voted for? 🤔 Ya'll are seriously going to tell me you now think Epstine wasn’t a Pedophile?

A lot of feelings were shared last Monday night. Our Lewisville ISD board had scheduled to vote on whether to shutdown multiple Public School buildings due to lack of funding and dropping attendance. Here is one testimony given by another local family that stuck out to me.

It was good to have the opportunity to speak to the Lewisville ISD board last Monday. They are in a situation where due to lack of attendance-rates and an underfunded Basic-Allotment, they voted to shutdown 5 Elementary Schools. I wanted to go more into the Bluebonnet Crriculum being pushed the the SBoE, but I could tell the packed room was more emotional about the School closures. I look forward to asking about the board's stance on Bluebonnet VS seperation-of-Church-&-State next time.

We need Public Education advocates in Austin. This is what happens at home when we send uncaring politicians to Austin... txlege

Over the past holiday I am still hearing this old myth that Democrats & Tim Walz wants to "put Tampons in Boys rooms"... Ok - let's look at the Bill-text of HF44. And after that, if you still believe in that right-wing mythology, then the burden-of-proof is on you to provide (1) the source of your information, and (2) the Bill-number you are referencing. I for one have an open mind. And yes, I can be convinced. But you must first show what backs your claims. If you just assume everything the tabloids say is true without confirming the authenticity of the information, then you are no better than a crazy conspiracy-theoriest.

Happy 🦃 Day everyone! Seems politics always comes up on days like these - when someone says that we on the Democratic side believe that Men can get pregnant, I usually respond like this -

Thank You for the question - this is why we are concerned about kids leaving Public Schools with a Voucher. It's because our Public Schools are under (financial) attack, and the privatization of our Public Education.

.....tonight was a hard night...

Tonight was a rough night... but I am glad to stand side-by-side with powerful leaders who want to bring Texas to a better place 🇨🇱 We all thank everyone for showing up, and for the support. Let's now call it a night, go to work tomarrow, close the next day, and then; we get back to work again 💪

My general feelings right now, LOL 😶 Anything can happen, but regardless I look forward to the outcome 💪 txlege

A special thanks to my darling wife for voting for me 😀 She and I don't always agree on everything in politics, but when it comes to our state/local policies, we can come to agreements on certain things ❤️ 💙 Vote now while you can in early-voting! Otherwise Tuesday is you last chance! 🗳

It is important to know who is on your ballot - what they stand for, who they are as a person, and also their quality as your candidate/representative. I stand for Healthcare & Public Education. My opponent on the otherhand, has not only corperate-morality issues, but qualification/residency issues... Look past the party system folks, it's time to vote for candidates with quality 🗳

My stance on School Vouchers? Hear me out - understand we have a massive surplus in Texas. And listen to my response in this video of our W.Falls Candidate Fourm [with my opponent]... Watch. Listen. And now Vote 🗳

A special thanks to KFDX for covering this race - as brought up before, my opponent doesn't live in this district. While living in SD12, he purchased an apartment in SD30 to have a claim of "residency", however, even with that he missed the 12 month time-window required by SOS law. Article Link: 🔗 https://www.texomashomepage.com/news/your-local-election-hq/could-lawsuit-ensue-over-senate-district-30-race-hagenbuch-frey-face-off/

A special thanks to KXII for covering this very important campaign! The only slight correction I would make is the cut of me saying that "First comes funding and THEN we can talk about Vouchers" - what was cut from this clip is I then immediately followed by saying "that utilize our Texas Surplus" - the point I was trying to make was that the reason Vouchers are unacceptable is due to them not using the surplus, but even if a Surplus-powered Voucher bill was to come across my desk, there is still no negotiations until our Public Schools are funded FIRST. Let's go vote! 🗳 🌊

Here is a 90-second cut from the LISD Forum - I am proud to stand by our Pro School Candidates! 💪 Mitch Little tried to say that my call for an increase in the [WADA] Basic Allotment was financially unsustainable. And DeBurr's response was "that was not a serious speech". 💙 The this is what we must do as Candidates, face your opponent, and call them out! 🌊 The full video for the LISD PTA Forum is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=42q_sKyROus

It was good to meet with the Grayson Retired School Personnel earlier today 😀 I told them my story and what I stand for 💪 And it was interesting to know Shelly Luther (R), and Tiffany Drake (D) were on stage together for the first time 🤔 Elections are coming up! 🗳

🎤 Mic Drop! - Had a powerhouse speech tonight! 😀 The first time I finally have a chance to sit at the table with my Republican opponent, and it went darn good well 💪 I am posting the rest of our debate tomarrow 🌊 💙 🌈

It was good to have the opportunity to speak at the Frisco Lakes Candidate Fourm the other week. 😀 On here I am giving my position on State funds going to the Boarder 🤔 I was hoping to be on stage with my opponent, Brent, but he didn't show up. Maybe the drive was too far for the non-viable candidate who dosnt live in the district 🤷‍♂️ Yet again crossed paths with Jared Patterson, though. 💪 The full raw video of the Fourm is on YouTub at; https://youtu.be/KbHRKRc5b28 txlege

We had a great time at the LBJ/Obama Gala last week! 😀 Delia introduced a surprise-guest, the one and only Colin Allred! 🤩 😊 💙 💪 🌈 The Denton County Democratic Party holds this fundraiser every year to support our candidates 💪 🌈 I recorded the entire 2024 event which can be seen at https://youtu.be/7cGO13wv84Y?si=SBlGrZ6pj23hZaf8

I was thankful to the Denton County Democratic Party for allowing me to post my candidate highlight video before the Galla last week! 😀 We were given a time limit of 30-ish seconds to tell the audience who we are, and what the audience can do to help us win our elections 💪 💙 🌈

Hello, I'm Dale Frey 🙂 And I am your next Texas State Senator 💙

Thanks so much to the Frisco Democratic Club for hosting their Happy Hour the other week! 😀 It was a great opportunity to talk to fellow voters and advocate for voter-outreach 💙 And I cannot express this enough guys; We are NOT a red-state, we are a non-voting state. And we can fix this 💪 as long as we remind ourselves that Friends Don't Let Friends Not Vote! 🗳 Let's vote, and flip things blue! 💙

This bozo actually shows up to a candidate fourm to push for School Vouchers 😑 Here is my reaction to his talking points...

It was good to speak to our friends in Frisco Texas before the Presidential Debate last week. 😀 I know I get told that I usually talk to fast, but since the debate was just about to start as I came up, I put my skill to good use 😉 Thanks to the @friscodemocrats Club for hosting! 💙

The governor is celebrating a bit early. We are not past November yet, so saying the School Voucher Scam is solidified now, is a bit premature. Here is my response to the governor's latest statement. 😑 txlege

Folks, an election is happening right now in Carrollton. And @mallet.penny / @mallet_penny is on the ballot! Let all give her our support! 💙

I am honored to become the Democratic nominee for Texas State Senate 30! 😀 I have so many Precinct Chairs, friends, Frisco Dem Club patrons, and Democracy-loving neighbors to thank for this nomination. I seriously could not have done it without ya'll. No candidate can make it this far without their team! I stand on ya'lls shoulders 💙 And now I look forward to a bigger task in these next few months! It's time to face off against the only non-viable candidate in this race, Brent, a guy who doesn't live in the district! Together we will stand up for better Health Care, better Public Schools, and stop the School Voucher Scam! 🇨🇱

Today is Election Day! Please come out and vote for Dale Frey! My campaign focuses on fixing our broken healthcare system, supporting our Public Schools & Teachers, and so much more! I stand AGAINST the School Voucher Scam, and am the ONLY candidate in the race marked as "Friendly" by the Texas Teachers Classroom Association, and by Texas for Public Education! 💙 Vote! 🗳 https://FreyForTexas.com

Happy to see the broadcast from Channel News 6 covering the State Senate Runnoff for District 30! 🙂

A good thanks to News Channel 6 at Wichita Falls for interviewing me for this upcoming Runoff Election! Like all things in politics, it will be tough, but I look forward to it! 🙂

I voted this week! Have you!? If not, you have until Friday to vote! 🗳 And if you miss this week, your last chance, Voting Day, is May 28th! Make sure you get out and vote for @freyfortexas 💙

May 28th is a State Senate Runoff Election, and I will be on the ballot! 💙 Please mark your calendars! EARLY VOTING is May 20th-24th. And Election Day is May 28th!

It was good to see our friends and Precinct Chairs at our Denton County CEC Meeting. I am trying to make sure that everyone knows about the upcoming Runnoff Election on May 28th 🙂

Some have asked my what my stance is on Pro-Live/Pro-Choice. As every Democrat, I support a woman's rights. I also want to focus on messaging though - I know you don't want to hear this but; as it stands, we don't have the votes in the Texas legislator to codify Roe at the state level. We democrats are running on this in order to flip seats, however, Republicans are too. So I think it is very important, as a political strategy, that we focus are messaging on [1] how there are no exceptions for rape nor incest, [2] no exceptions for child rape, and [3] focus on how they are even trying to ban IVF (InVitro Fertilization) now. We need to focus on this. THEN we flip seats. And only THEN, can we get woman's rights back. txlege

I was happy to see our friends at the Candidate Meet & Greet tonight. Next time I'll keep a remote microphone on me because, yikes that's a lot of background noise 🤫 😮‍💨

Simply holding a sign advocating for teachers gets you arrested in Republican controlled chambers. They hate us folks. Vote. Them. Out. VOTE BLUE! SUPPORT OUR PUBLIC EDUCATION! txlege

Trump was televised on CNN but NOT on FoxNews, as he pulled a page from the book of AlexJones by reading only headlines of articles and assuming the content within them. Embarrassing. I wonder if the boys from KnowledgeFight will cover this the same way they cover Infowars by reading the articles referenced and fact-checking the situation 💙

How do you feel about a national ban of TicTok, as some politicians call it a national security issue invoked by China?" - An excellent question in our @dfwprogressives Monthly Mingle! Ya'll should join us the next time we meet! 😀 All are welcome, and guests are encouraged to speak if they want too! 💙 See the @dfwprogressives profile for more info on the meet Zoom meeting

Special Thanks to the @dentondemocrats for letting me introduce myself to our fellow Precinct Chairs in our monthly CEC meeting 💙

Many people ask me what Christian Nationalism is. The definition can be a wide spectrum, but a few core elements are; mixing political polarization, hard exclusivity, and supremacy, into Christianity. Christian Nationalism IS NOT Christianity.

Replying to a comment on my last video - We Texans do in fact pay for medical programs in California and New Jersey, but not back here in Texas - due to us not opt-ing into the MediCaid-Expansion Program. We loose about $10 billion dollars a year over this... 😑

Thanks to all who showed up to the Denton County Democratic Party Convention last Saturday! https://youtu.be/YRJ6v4_VA24

Thanks to all who showed up to the Denton County Democratic Party Convention last Saturday! We heard from a lot of great candidates, and voted on important Party delegations! 💙 https://youtu.be/YRJ6v4_VA24

FoxNews is nothing but a grift. Being bothered by TaylorSwift says more about yourself than it does about Taylor. Folks; Judge people by the silly things that bother them!

Republicans bring nothing but chaos. Vote Blue! 💙 - Frey for Texas State Senate 30

Last Super Tuesday was a bloodbath for the Republican side of the isle - the problem here is that the Republicans who voted against School Vouchers in the past have now lost their primaries. If we can't depend on the House to defend Texas from the Voucher Scam, then we MUST elect State Senators who will! I stand for supporting our Public Schools, our Teachers, and I stand against the Voucher Scam that is designed to defund our already-defunded Public Schools! @dentondemocrats @collindemocrat

I want to thank everyone who voted in this Primary Election this past Super Tuesday. I am grateful to continue onto the Runoff Election this coming May! Ya'll made this possible, and I will continue to advocate for our HealthCare, Teachers, and our LGBTQ neighbors! 💙 (sorry for the re-post, had to edit the video)

Today is the last day to vote, so get to the polls by 7pm! Lookup your voting location at https://teamrv-mvp.sos.texas.gov VOTE BLUE! 💙

Thank You to KFDX for covering me! 😀 Vote today guys! March 5th is the last day to vote!
